Here are my specs:
P3 1000 Mhz coppermine
Tyan S2060 mobo
30 gig ATA 100 HD
ATI Radeon 32 MB video
Yamaha soundcard
Windows 2000 Professional

I just finished installing everything Yesterday afternoon(friday) and everything sorta went well...only real problem I had was when playing quake I freeze up after about 6-8 minutes. The display actually freezes and there is a low looping sound comingg from speakers...I have updated all my drivers to the most recent ones available and well frankly I am stumped now...If anyone has an idea plz lemme know...

Sounds like a heat problem. Try taking the case off your system and running it like that. If it doesn't lock up, then that is probably your problem.

Could be a power problem too, I had that happen to me (too many damn fans in the case

)

How many case fans you running. . .
