I got used to move the player with the TrackPoint device (the little red button) on my laptop computer when playing QII. I set up the "J" key to switch from moving the player to moving the crosshair (aiming) and found this combination really effective. I would like to continue doing so with QIII but have not been able to find out how to set up my keyboard to do so.
Any ideas? Need help!

Sorry can't help you, not many (any?) of us play with laptops. Just doesn't do justice to the game.

I could be totally, 100% off here, but I think that usung that little nipple mouse (or whatever you've got on the laptop) is the same as normal mouse, and you've got mouselook on. Try turning mouselook off, so that the mouse moves you forward and backward, strafes, etc. etc.
