Got an odd problem with my new system. Rather than put it all here I made a page for it. If anyone can come up with anything I have not tried short of changing the mb or cpu, lemme know. http://www.members.home.net/desk.jet/problem.htm

Check your bios, for CPU multiply settings and all that shit. Then, take out your sound card, and turn on the PC and test it. Then, if that doesn't work, pull out the netcard and put the sound card back in and test it.

This is a little process, I like to call KISS.

(keep it simple stupid)

I hope that my ramblings have aided you in some way.

The bios is set to all defaults. I also flashed it with the newest version and it's set at defaults. I removed the sound and lan cards, did a format and fresh install with nothing in it but the video card. That didn't help either. Still could be an odd setting in the bios though. I will post what the problem was if the place that built it ever figures it out. They have it right now and are scratching there heads. Said they would try a new hd, mb, cpu, power supply until they found what's causing it.
Thanks.
