Is keyboard/mouse the way to go for quake, or are there some better controllers out there that make it easier to strafe? I was thinking along the line of Sidewinder...any suggestions or keyboard configs? Thanx- Joe

bind your A & D or Q & E keys to strafing left and right resoectively ... and then practice.
Years ago I used a left handed joystick for forward/back/left side step/ right side step (I still used the mouse w/ my right hand). I found that the 'stick can't react as quickly (change direction) as when using the keys.
