Ok, I know someone is thinking this guy is behind the times.But i just got Q2and i want to play it online.But there is ever anyone on to play against. can you guys help out??

Heheeheh that is a classic.. I would suggest that you get gamespy and you can find a lot of server of Quake 2..

Yep, and you'll also need the latest (hehe) Quake2 patch, the full 3.20 patch, which is right about here. Or here? Or maybe even here.

Make sure it's the full patch (14mb or so) and not the upgrade. Not that many people play Quake II nowadays, but there are some.

Just look up the phrase "quake 2 mod" in any search engine and you're bound to find more than you can imagine. 0.09 seconds in Google resulted in 111,000/ That took less time than it took you to post here. t's just a matter of taking some time (one tenth of a second, in fact) to look.

You may also want to look in FilePlanet's Quake 2 Mod List and/or PlanetQuake's Mod List for a list of mods hosted by PQ.

i think jet was looking for a site the takes mods for quake and groups them.. like the best ones or something.

Going to google and entering +quake2 +mod is a waste of time. You find 1000 sites written by teens who like to play quake and hax0r while they lister to hard core Winger
