I would like some jumping tips tricks for Q3. I have heard there are numerous tricks to get further move faster. Maybe you could just provide a link I can read. I've seen people clear qtourney4 inside with 1 jump. Thanks for your time.

i just started playing q3 and man does it ever rock i also would like to learn the jumping tricks :K

Ok, there is something called "Strafe-Jumping"...
What you do is your RUN then jump...and immediately after you leave the ground, you hold Strafe-Left or Right. As soon as you hit the ground hit the Jump button again, alternate strafe-left and strafe-right to continue going straight.
You will notice that you accelerate with every jump.
