ok, this one is very strange. I had a 32 meg Radeon, after upgrading from my voodoo 3, and all my quakes ran fine (quake 2 and 3)with both of these video cards. Then out of no where my fps dropped dramatically in quake 2 with the radeon, and a little later than that quake 3 did the same thing. Not only did the fps drop, but the game dramatically slows down (very slow fps, I can actually see the frames click by) whenever I jump, shoot, or turn quickly. These 2 cards were ran on win ME. Too put the icing on the cake I just bought a NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX and it does the same thing, (slows down whenever I jump, turn, or shoot) and I get from 40-90 fps in quake 3, and even better I get 60 in quake 2. So obviously something has to be dramatically wrong. PLEASE help me I haven't had my quake fix in over a year because of this problem. Also the radeon was ran on ME and XP and it had the same problem. The GeForce has only been ran on Win XP. System: 633 Pentium 391 megs of sdram 15 gb hard drive all video cards ran through the same pci slot. Win XP (I do have the 3.0.8.2... driver too)
