Author Topic: CPU Bus X Multiplyer sinisterstorm2000 Sarge Member # 2220 Rate Member posted 11-16-2001 05:23 PM                   Hey with Xmas coming aroudn ive been thinking about upgrading my computer. I have a P3-733 right now with a P3V4X mb. I thought that max speed on it was 800 MHZ. Now after looking through the book and getting further knowledge of comupter in my course.. i realized that i can have a Bus speed of 150mhz and a Multiplyer of 8x. Now if i went and bought a P3-1.2Ghz Chip and put it in my system with a 150mhz bus and 8x multiplyer would that hurt my machine?
